Synthetic Drugs

Launched District of Columbia’s synthetic marijuana prevention campaign, laying the foundation for a comprehensive cross-agency program and policy response to emerging drug issues.

Managed technical program components of the District of Columbia’s Stronger Together infant mortality reduction campaign to reduce IMR rate to 5.0 by 2020, as part of Clinton Global Initiative project of the District and a private management consultant partner.

Led the development and coordination of the “The Intersection of HIV/AIDS and Behavioral Health within the Caribbean Diaspora: From DC to Town” networking seminar at the Trinidad and Tobago Embassy in Washington, DC.

Leadership Development

Provided management, program development, training, and facilitation services to the ATTC Leadership Institute, included piloting the first Co-Occurring ATTC Leadership Institute.

The Trident approach is based on a shared population health value system, and assists clients with developing:

  • Strategic partnerships: Strategic public-private partnerships across the various SDOH sectors

The intent is to identify interested stakeholders to develop a Caribbean Collective of Interdisciplinary Leaders In Health.

Trident has developed this initiative to offer the general public story time with individuals who’ve suffered health or social determinant of health related stigma, prejudice, or discrimination, in an attempt foster empathy and a path to equity in access and quality of care. Topics include addiction, mental health, and domestic violence.

Trident House International, LLC developed the Making Art With The Pieces™ project as an approach to help individuals, children, and families focus on building core resiliency skills, empowering them to respond to life’s challenges in a healthy manner. Ten tips for building resilience include developing skills around Connectedness, Empathy, Routine, Imagination, Positivity, Self-Love, Goals, Perspective, Self-Discovery, and Change. #ZenTen
